These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Flowstate Labs LLC ("Flowstate Labs," "we," "us," or "our") for the Cookflow mobile app and the cookflowai.com website (together, the "Service"). Cookflow asks you to agree to these Terms the first time you open the app. You can tap "Not now" and still use your grocery list, cookbook, menu, and cooking steps. Features that send information to other services (ordering groceries, importing a recipe from a link or photo, voice input, share links, and cloud sync) stay off until you tap "I agree." By tapping "I agree," or by using those features, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Cookflow is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms for you.
Cookflow lets you keep a grocery list; save, import, and organize recipes; plan menus; follow cooking steps; and send your grocery list to a store to build a cart. Some features rely on third-party services described in our Privacy Policy. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Cookflow does not require an account, email, or password. Recipes, menus, grocery lists, notes, and other content you add ("User Content") remain yours. You confirm you have the right to add your User Content, and you give Flowstate Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it only to provide the Service to you (for example, to import a recipe, build a store cart, create a share link you ask for, or sync across your devices if you turn that on). We do not claim ownership of your recipes or lists.
Cookflow uses automatic tools, including AI, to do work for you. These tools can make mistakes. You are responsible for checking their results before you rely on them.
Imported recipes are for your own personal, non-commercial use. A recipe's wording, photos, and stories may be protected by its author's or publisher's copyright. You agree to follow the law and the source website's own terms, not to use Cookflow to get around a paywall or login, and not to republish imported content as your own. Cookflow keeps a link to the original source where it can. Flowstate Labs does not review or endorse third-party recipe content.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, email mike@flowstatelabs.dev with: your contact details; the work you own; where the content appears (such as the share link); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable content when appropriate and may end access for repeat infringers.
When you create a share link for a recipe or grocery list, anyone who has the link can see what you shared. Only share content you have the right to share. Share links may show a summary and a link to the original recipe instead of the full content. We may disable any share link at any time, including after a complaint.
When you tap Order, Cookflow sends your grocery list to the store you choose (for example, Amazon) and opens that store's own app or website. The store, not Flowstate Labs, sells the products and handles your order, payment, delivery, returns, refunds, and substitutions, under the store's own terms and privacy policy. Flowstate Labs is not a party to your purchase and never sees your payment details.
Cookflow is free. When you order through a store from Cookflow, Flowstate Labs may earn a commission from that store. This never changes what you pay.
As an Amazon Associate, Flowstate Labs earns from qualifying purchases.
Cookflow picks products by what you chose before, what you bought before, and what the store sells most. It never picks a product because it pays Flowstate Labs more.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Store names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to show where your order goes. Stores do not sponsor or endorse Cookflow.
You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful; interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; scrape, copy, or bulk-import content through the Service; reverse-engineer or misuse our recipe tools or store connections beyond normal personal use; or add content you don't have the right to use. The Service has daily usage limits to keep it running for everyone.
The Service, including the Cookflow name, logo, design, and software, is owned by Flowstate Labs LLC and protected by law. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by these Terms and the App Store Terms. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or branding.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RECIPE IMPORTS, VOICE INPUT, PRODUCT PICKS, PRICES, OR STORE CARTS WILL BE ACCURATE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWSTATE LABS LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY HARM FROM RECIPE CONTENT, FOOD PREPARATION, PRODUCT PICKS, OR PURCHASES FROM STORES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO SOME OF THEM MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flowstate Labs LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you add or share.
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app, which deletes the data stored on your device. We may suspend or end your access to online features (such as imports, share links, ordering, or cloud sync) if you break these Terms or harm the Service or others. Sections 4 to 6, 9, and 11 to 19 survive after you stop using the Service.
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is important, the app will ask you to agree again before you use the features listed at the top of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection law where you live requires otherwise. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law requires a different court. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us first so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Flowstate Labs about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part, we don't give up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale, or change of ownership. These Terms may be shown in other languages; if a translation differs from the English version, the English version controls.
